Proven Leadership, Real Solutions

Experience that matters for Carroll County

A Fighter for Our Community

Colin Mitchell has spent his career solving problems with data and discipline. Rising to Staff Sergeant during fifteen years of service in the Army National Guard, Mitchell helped lead disaster relief efforts when communities needed it most.

After earning his undergraduate and master's degrees in Applied Mathematics from Northeastern University, he built a decade-long career analyzing complex challenges for organizations ranging from JP Morgan to innovative startups. As a data analyst, business intelligence engineer, and coder, Mitchell knows how to cut through complexity to find solutions that work.

His experience in both military service and the private sector taught him that good solutions come from hard work, clear thinking, and attention to detail. Now he's ready to bring that analytical approach and work ethic to the New Hampshire House of Representatives, because Carroll County needs representatives who understand both numbers and real-world problem solving.

Fighting for What Matters

Real solutions for real challenges

Judicial Reforms in Family Court

Introducing legislation requiring New Hampshire family courts to establish a presumption of shared parenting and mandate mediation before custody hearings. Working to streamline the family court process and reduce financial burdens on families.

Tax Benefits for Residential Micro-Farms

Extending agricultural tax exemptions to residential properties dedicating at least 10% of land to food production. Helping working families reduce their tax burden while promoting food security and local agriculture.

No New Taxes, No Exceptions

Voting against every tax increase that comes before the NH House. Protecting New Hampshire's advantage of having no income or sales tax while working to reduce government spending.

Federal Compensation for NH Land

Establishing a formula for full federal compensation to New Hampshire towns hosting federal lands. Ending the annual guessing game and forcing Washington to pay what it actually owes our communities.

Protecting Second Amendment Rights

Introducing enforcement ban legislation that imposes real consequences on officials who seize firearms without proper due process. Reforming the restraining order system to protect constitutional rights.

Keep the Golden Years Golden

Freezing property tax rates for New Hampshire residents over 65 on fixed incomes. Ensuring seniors who built their lives here can stay in their homes without facing escalating tax bills.

Protecting Our Right to a Future

Opposing restrictions on emerging technology and protecting economic freedom. Making New Hampshire the destination for entrepreneurs, makers, and innovators by enshrining technology rights in our constitution.

Faith in Our First Amendment

Protecting churches and houses of worship from losing tax exemptions when pastors speak on matters of faith and conscience. Ensuring state tax policy can never be used against religious speech.

Committed to Conservative Principles

Colin Mitchell believes that good governance comes from applying conservative principles with analytical rigor. His military service taught him discipline and duty. His business experience taught him efficiency and accountability. Together, they've prepared him to serve Carroll County with distinction.

Limited Government

Government should do a few things well, not many things poorly

Fiscal Responsibility

Every dollar matters when it comes from hardworking families

Constitutional Rights

Our freedoms are not negotiable
