Thank you, Windham!

I am grateful for the trust Windham voters put in the Republican candidates this general election. The gap between Republican and Democratic candidates in our four seat House district grew from 393 votes in 2022 to 1,724 votes in 2024. 

That is a massive increase, especially since the Democratic National Committee spent millions of dollars to turn our state blue (I believe we were one of only two states in the US where they spend so heavily to influence state races).

They thought that the NH House was ripe for the picking, and you told them otherwise - I am so happy that you reminded everyone that money cannot buy elections… 

My thanks to all the people that spoke with me at the transfer station and when I knocked on their doors, and especially to the ones who were open to tough discussions about policies we disagree on - it is so important for us to be able to better understand where each other is coming from, and why we are making certain decisions. 

Thank you for having my signs on your lawn, for putting in a good word about me to your family, friends and neighbors, and for trusting me with your vote. It is a responsibility I take very seriously and I will work hard to reward your trust again.

In my one term as one of your state representatives, I kept my promises:

I worked hard to protect our rights and help our economy thrive so we can all afford the high cost of living in Windham. 

I worked for two years to build bipartisan coalitions where possible - three of my four bills (each of them became law) were bipartisan. 

I supported good ideas, no matter who proposed them - I was a cosponsor on legislation that was all Republican, on legislation where I was the only Republican with all Democrats, and everything in between. 

None of that will change this term, even though Republicans appear to be on their way gaining 20+ additional House seats this year.

I am more excited about the future than I was two years ago, but also more aware of the heavy responsibility lying on my shoulders in this role - I will always honor your trust.
