For over two decades, Denis Murphy has called Winchester home, bringing with him a lifetime of dedication to family, community, and service. Married to his high school sweetheart for 52 years, Denis and his wife have raised four children and are blessed with eight grandchildren — a testament to the enduring values that guide his life.
Since 2014, Denis has served as Winchester's Town Moderator, ensuring fair and transparent governance for our community. His commitment extends beyond local government — as a trustee of the Conant Board, he has helped shape educational opportunities for our youth.
A proud member of the Kiwanis Club of Winchester since 2007, Denis has held numerous leadership positions including Club President, Lieutenant Governor, and New England and Bermuda District Governor. Currently serving as President of the Kiwanis Foundation of New England, he continues to champion service above self.
In 2024, Denis brought his wealth of experience to the State House, representing Winchester. As a member of the Municipal and County Government Committee, he works tirelessly to ensure Winchester's voice is heard in Concord, fighting for local control and responsible governance.
