Forty Years A Neighbor

An Engineer’s Mind.
A Granite Stater’s Heart.

Michael Harrington has called Strafford home for over 40 years. He and his wife have been married 49 years and raised two daughters here. Today the family includes a granddaughter — and a black English Lab who insists on coming along for the walk.

Michael holds a degree in nuclear engineering and spent more than 20 years working at the Seabrook Nuclear Plant. That’s two decades in an industry where math has to add up, safety is not a slogan, and results matter more than talking points.

He went on to serve as a New Hampshire Public Utilities Commissioner, and presently serves on the NH House Science, Technology and Energy Committee — bringing real technical expertise to the debates that decide what Granite Staters pay to heat their homes and keep the lights on.

When he isn’t working, you’ll find Michael traveling, hiking a ridgeline, scuba diving, fishing, or at the range target shooting.

Where I Stand

Priorities Worth Fighting For

01

Taxes & The Growth of Government

Controlling taxes by controlling spending and growth in government. Every dollar Concord spends comes out of a family’s budget first — and a government that never stops growing will never stop asking for more.

02

Committed to Affordable, Reliable Energy

New Hampshire families and employers deserve energy policy grounded in engineering reality, not wishful thinking. Republicans support an all-of-the-above approach that keeps the grid reliable and utility bills as low as possible.

03

Committed to Government Accountability

Taxpayers deserve to know where their money goes. Republicans stand for transparent budgeting, real oversight of state agencies, and defending the New Hampshire Advantage — no income tax, no sales tax, no exceptions.
