Serving East Kingston & Kingston
PAM BROWN FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE
Principled Leadership, Proven Results
Meet Pam Brown
As an economist, educator, and proven fiscal conservative, I bring a unique perspective to the State House — one grounded in data, common sense, and an unwavering commitment to New Hampshire values.
Born in Boston and raised in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, I fell in love with New Hampshire spending childhood summers at Province Lake, swimming the icy-cold Swift River and skiing New Hampshire's slopes. Today, I'm proud to call Kingston home and serve the communities that shaped me.
With a Ph.D. in Economics and decades of experience as a college professor and researcher, I understand that the biggest challenges facing Granite State families are economic — making ends meet, managing rising costs, and ensuring government lives within its means. That's why I've dedicated my career to finding real solutions that reduce costs and improve services.
My approach is simple: encourage free enterprise, expand consumer choice, and promote competition. These principles have guided my work on the Sanborn Regional School District Budget Committee, where we identified $1.1 million in savings, and during my tenure on the School Board, where we returned $1.5 million to taxpayers while improving educational outcomes.
Now serving my first term in the NH House of Representatives as Clerk of the Education Funding Committee, I'm fighting every day to protect the New Hampshire Advantage and ensure our state remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Fighting for What Matters
Real solutions to the challenges facing New Hampshire families
The New Hampshire Advantage
As your Representative in Concord, I will protect "the New Hampshire Advantage." Let's continue to limit state spending, maintain low taxes, and prevent excessive state regulation to keep the Granite State "business friendly" and a great place to live!
Cost of Living & Inflation
Every State, including New Hampshire, is now a "sales tax" state thanks to inflation. Inflation is a 'tax' from Washington DC NO ONE VOTED FOR! Prices for consumer goods have increased more than 20% the past few years. That means ONE FIFTH of checking & retirement account purchasing power - PERMANENTLY GONE! Prices continue to rise monthly. Survival becomes more difficult especially for those on fixed incomes and with very limited savings. To remedy this, all New Hampshire energy supplies, both traditional and renewables, must be increased by encouraging growth in this sector. This simple step will reduce our costs of electricity, heating and transportation - and cut expenses for all Granite Staters!
School Choice & Parental Rights
I am a lifelong advocate of school choice! Educational choice improves academic performance by increasing competition, and allows families to find the services best suited for their unique young learners! As your State Rep with a seat on the House Education Funding Committee, I will continue work for education choices for ALL Granite State families! Parental Rights should be fully respected - and parents should maintain ultimate authority over the direction of their children's education and cultural upbringing. Efforts to have public schools assume parental decisions without consent, hide information about student's welfare, and mandate leftist curriculum and age-inappropriate sexual topics must end. I support a ban on males competing in female sports or using female restrooms - and oppose transgender medical procedures on young children.
Election Integrity
Election Integrity remains a critical issue. We must continue to improve State laws and make it "Easy to Vote, Hard to Cheat." Strong voter identification measures are critical to ensure only American citizens are permitted a ballot. Mandatory audits of NH elections should be completed - with hand-counting of paper ballots, not just a "recount" with tallying machines.
