Principles Over Politics

Pamela McMahon

Meet Your Neighbor, Pamela

For over 30 years, Pamela has called New Hampshire home. For nearly 20 of those years, she's been a proud resident of Hooksett, where she raised her two sons while staying deeply rooted in our community through school activities, youth sports, and town events.

As an educator who has worn many hats in our schools, Pamela brings a unique perspective to Concord. She's a lifelong learner passionate about fostering growth, enrichment, and well-rounded lives for all our children. Coming from a single-income household herself, she understands firsthand how rising costs impact hardworking families trying to make ends meet.

Currently serving as a Hooksett Library Trustee, Pamela champions our library as a vital community resource. She makes thoughtful decisions that balance accessibility with financial responsibility – exactly the approach she'll bring to the State House.

Pamela believes the best way to represent you is by listening to your concerns and ideas. She's committed to being your voice in Concord, ensuring that the needs of both Hooksett and Dunbarton families are heard when important decisions are made.

Education and Community

Fighting for What Matters Most

Educational Freedom

Pamela McMahon will champion parental rights by supporting Education Savings Accounts that allow New Hampshire families to use their education tax dollars for the schooling option that works best for their children, whether that's public, private, religious, or homeschooling. She will work to reduce the crushing property tax burden on Hooksett families by demanding transparency in school spending and fighting against unfunded mandates that drive up local education costs. Pamela will ensure parents have full access to curriculum materials and the final say in their children's education, protecting New Hampshire's tradition of local control.

Lower Taxes

Pamela McMahon will vote against any state income or sales tax and work to reduce New Hampshire's property tax burden by opposing unfunded mandates that force cities and towns to raise local taxes. She will push for spending restraint at the state level and support legislation that gives municipalities more flexibility to control their own costs, keeping New Hampshire's tax advantage over our neighboring states.

Fiscal Responsibility

As someone who understands the challenges of a single-income household, Pamela knows every dollar counts. She'll bring that same careful stewardship to state government, ensuring taxpayer money is spent wisely and efficiently. She'll fight against wasteful spending and work to streamline government operations, always keeping in mind the hardworking families who foot the bill.
