★ Nashua Ward 2 ★
Nashua Is Home.
Always Has Been.
Shawn Martin has lived in Nashua for more than 30 years. He raised two daughters here, and now he's watching his granddaughter grow up in the same city he loves.
Three generations of roots — and a real say in how this city and state move forward.
His background is built on numbers and how things actually work: computer technology, mechanical engineering, and a master's degree in financial management in investment analysis. That's not a résumé line — it's a way of thinking. Ask what something costs. Ask who pays for it. Ask whether it works.
Shawn believes in policies and proposals that ease the financial burdens of Nashua families. He wants to focus on how we can make a better way of life that actually helps families in their day-to-day lives financially living in New Hampshire — a better property tax structure, along with better school and county funding.
A Numbers-First Voice
For Ward 2
Shawn is running for State Representative, Ward 2 Nashua, mainly focusing to fix how property taxes are structured — and to keep an income tax or sales tax off the table.
He understands both the technical and financial sides of the decisions coming out of Concord, and he wants to bring that same grounded, numbers-first approach to every vote in support of Nashua voters and New Hampshire families.
Every vote measured against one question: what does this cost the family paying for it?
Where Shawn Stands
Clear positions. No hedging. These are the fights Shawn Martin is taking to Concord on behalf of Nashua.
Taxes, Taxes, Taxes
Rising property taxes year after year have gotten out of hand for those retired and working families impacting their daily lives. Never an income tax or sales tax. The financial impact of a state income and sales taxes on working families and retirees would be a financial disaster. More taxes is not the answer for better financial management practices for the state, and cities and towns.
Election Integrity
We must uphold our election integrity in New Hampshire for legal, law abiding citizens and that integrity must not be infringed. Proper identification and citizenship are the backbone of election integrity.
Committed to Fiscal Accountability
Republicans believe every dollar Concord spends belongs to the taxpayer who earned it. That means honest budgeting, transparent spending, and a serious look at how school and county funding is structured so that local property taxpayers are not left carrying the load year after year.

Families First
Built For The
People Who Live Here
Nashua is a city of working families, small business owners, retirees on fixed incomes, and neighbors who look out for one another. They don't need slogans from Concord — they need a representative who reads the fine print.
Shawn's campaign is a Nashua campaign: door to door, neighbor to neighbor, one conversation at a time. If you live in Ward 2, your priorities are the agenda.
