Transparency, Truth, and Accountability for New Hampshire

Susan DeRoy

A Proven Leader for Our Communities

Granite Staters deserve a government that does what is right — even when no one is watching — and faithfully follows the Constitution at every level.

In my first term as your State Representative, I have championed these principles by sponsoring HB 1502 and CACR 23, a constitutional amendment to strengthen legislative oversight of the judicial branch and improve judicial accountability. I have also been a strong voice demanding greater transparency and fiscal accountability from Strafford County government — including scrutiny of county budgets, spending priorities, and major projects — as well as from our local town governments.

With decades of experience as a business owner and executive in national and international markets, I understand what it takes to build a strong economy. Too many of our young people have left New Hampshire for better opportunities, leaving behind a growing elder population. We must reverse this trend by supporting trades, cutting red tape, and creating good jobs right here at home.

Susan DeRoy speaking at the New Hampshire State House

I have devoted my life to civic leadership, serving as Chair of the Rochester Economic Development Commission, President of Rochester Rotary, Board Member of Leadership Seacoast, and in many other roles. I currently serve on the New Durham Budget Committee, where I work directly to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently.

It's time to bring citizens back to the table and restore trust in government — from Strafford County and our towns to Concord. I respectfully ask for your vote for a second term so we can continue building a New Hampshire rooted in truth, guided by the Constitution, and accountable to you.
